More accolades were poured in for Tibusiswa Lindsay Dlamini for her Bible Society Competition Win. Tibusiswa Lindsay Dlamini's outstanding performance in winning the prestigious Bible Society competition last week continued attracting well-wishers' attention. The Sales and Marketing team from Macmillan Education Eswatini was the most recent, and they paid a special visit to St. Theresa’s High School last week to celebrate Lindsay’s remarkable achievement with the administration. She was presented with a Macmillan goodie backpack with various items inside, alongside her teacher for emerging as the top contender among the brightest minds in the country.

Lindsay shone brightest in the Bible Society of Eswatini and the Ministry of Education and Training Competition on the theme “Climate Change Through the Bible Lens”. The Honorable Minister of Education and Training, Owen Nxumalo, presented the award. Lindsay’s hard work and dedication have earned her a trip to Norway, where she will represent Eswatini later this month. Accompanying her on this trip is her teacher and mentor, Ms. Phiri, who has been instrumental in guiding Lindsay throughout her academic journey.

During their visit to the school, the Macmillan Education team, comprised of Mbuso Sacolo, Nomcebo Mngomezulu and Mcebo Magagula, expressed heartfelt congratulations not only to Lindsay but also to the leadership and staff of St. Theresa’s High School. The team commended the school’s commitment to excellence in education, highlighting the pivotal role of the teaching staff in nurturing and guiding students toward achieving their goals. They acknowledged the dedication of Ms. Phiri and the rest of the staff in creating an environment where learners can thrive, grow, and accomplish great things.

Macmillan's Sales and Marketing Manager celebrated Lindsay's success in his remarks delivered to the gathered students at the morning assembly. He encouraged the learners to continue working hard in their studies. He emphasized that the success of students like Lindsay is evidence of what can be achieved through perseverance and determination. He further urged all the learners to remain focused on their education and strive for excellence, particularly with the upcoming exams for those who had not yet started writing theirs.

The Principal of St. Theresa’s, Mr Albert Sihlongonyane, who was visibly beaming with joy, expressed gratitude for the visit, noting that it was a great motivator for both staff and students alike. He highlighted that recognition from a reputable institution like Macmillan Education Eswatini reflects the quality of education at St. Theresa’s and inspires other students to push beyond their limits.
